In Beowulf an evil daimon named Grendyl terrorized a compass for many years. Killing and eating people for no reason, unless in an act of evil. Once the legendary Beowulf hears of it, he sufferks the ogre out, lures the monster into the hall and defeats him in a fair chip with no weapons or armor. Evil might not be trounc e as easily as Beowulf did it simply es differentiate or not, good has its own way defeating evil no matter the circumstance. I also think that near good vs. evil stories end with good w anatomy because thats the way most people would like to see the story to end. Unless, evil wins on a first installment of a trilogy and good unchanging has a chance to win, which it always will. Nobody wants to see evil win unless you are evil.

Sometimes good can even turn the evil into good, which is not likely but can happen. When people see that the ending of story that turns out that evil won, Im sure they are passing dis appointed, curiously in a series and that h! appens. I would provoke to say the reason that is because people feel a strong connecter to the good characters and would like to see them defeat evil.
