The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was signed into rightfulness in 2002. It was a reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. It established a 12-year period of reforms. Each school was to reduce how many students quantify-tested below the proficient level (Richards, 2002).
