Violence and dishonour against women has been imbedded in this culture for hundreds of years. The view of this patriarchal decree transcends a picture that portrays women as submissive beings. Constantly jeopardize and harmed by the acts of violence and rape that are culture doubtlessly minimizes as ok. The poem directly portrays exactly what many women fear, and/or experience on a daily basis. Women are beaten, raped, molested, and harmed by strangers, loved ones, fathers, brothers, boyfriends, uncles, and even friends. With that, no matter who you are, where you are, women are contact by not only victims of these acts, but the predators of them. Because of this, women live a life of fear. No matter where they go, or what they do, the threat of rape or violence is always in the back of their head. I may not shut my door fast enuf/ wedge hard enuf, no matter how hard women try, they will neer escape the fear or anxiety of a in force(p) enigma in America.
E actually three minutes a woman is beaten by her husband, maybe her boyfriend, or by chance her own father. What ever the case may be, its serious. Women face this problem in our world on a daily basis. Although its good-for-naught how this culture tries to minimize the pain and oppressiveness women experience by abuse. Minimizing abuse of women dates back to the rule of thumb, you couldnt beat your wife with nothing wider than the width of your thumb. Even in some religions conceptualisation of abuse is justified. This is a great writing and is very well written. It seems similar the author had a passion for this topic. It seems like its a research paper, but theres no bibliography included and I only counted about 5 different sources cited in the text. deflection from that, this paper is stellar, and its concludes with a strong final paragraph.
